Ppc is short for Pay Per Click. This is an internet marketing formula used to price online advertisement. A ppc search engine submission is when an individual or a company submit an ad across the web to the various search engines.
These ads can be seen on related websites or on the right side of the Google pages. When clicking on the ad you are directed to a website’s landing page and the person or company who made the ad is charged a pre-agreed charge every time the ad is clicked. The website owner on which the ad featured gets a commission for every time someone clicks on it. One site can have many different ads from different companies although mostly related to that website’s contents.
Each click can be worth between 1cent to several dollars whether it’s a payout or a charge. This value depends on many factors, including which ppc search engine is being used and the search phrase that is being targeted. Also the amount you bid determines your listed position.
Although advertiser’s position is determined by how much they are bidding for each clickthrough, the relevance of the text and the website is also considered.

The most well known PPC network is Google’s Adwords.
The way it works is that you have to research what is the best possible search phrase as in which is most popular, the one people input in the Google search box the most. Once you have it, you go to Adwords and setup your ad. You now have to bid on one or several search phrases for your product or service. You need to know how much to bid for each phrase. This is the internet advertising price.
It is very important to know how to set up your ad, the do’s and dont’s of the Google policy and internet. You need to know the best way to write your ad so that people will click on it. It needs to be relevant information and very targeted. Once the ad is up and live you need to test it by letting it run for a given amount of time and checking if you are making a profit or a loss. You can then go back to your add and either tweak it or choose a different search phrase.
You need to know what will make those hungry customers not only click on your ad but buy – this is called tracking.
